Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of the website “Nucleus” (the “platform”). The provider is the person named in the imprint. By registering you agree to these terms.

2. Requirements

3. What the platform is

Nucleus is a non-commercial community project. Users submit contributions (answers to questions or short texts) on given topics, which are checked automatically and by a team and used to train an AI model. There is no entitlement to constant availability, particular features or the continued existence of the platform.

4. Rules for contributions and behaviour

You agree not to submit or distribute content that:

The same applies to profile pictures and bios. Only upload pictures you may use; pictures of other people only with their permission. Invite codes are personal – don't sell them or post them publicly in bulk.

5. Rights to your contributions

6. Indemnification

If you submit content that infringes the rights of third parties (in particular copyright) and the provider is held liable by third parties as a result (e.g. a cease-and-desist letter), you indemnify the provider against all resulting claims, damages and reasonable costs of legal defence, insofar as you are responsible for the infringement. In such a case the provider will inform you without delay and, where possible, leave the defence to you.

7. AI answers

The answers generated by Nucleus are based exclusively on community contributions. They can be wrong, incomplete or misleading and are not professional, legal, medical or any other advice. Use them at your own risk. Daily token and chat limits apply to the chat.

8. Moderation, suspension and termination

9. Availability and changes

The platform is provided as a free hobby project. The provider may change or restrict features or discontinue operation at any time. These terms may be amended; the version published on this page applies.

10. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise the provider is only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. No warranty is given for user-generated content or AI answers.

11. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Contact: see imprint.
